The Lamor Oy chemical and plastic recycling plant in Kilpilahti, Porvoo, Finland, has installed a FIREMIKS 6000-3-PP-F-ALU-DRV water-driven volumetric pump proportioner for fire-fighting. Notably, this is the first plant of its kind in Finland.
The FIREMIKS system has been fitted within a container at the plant to ensure ideal fire safety. This model offers a maximum flow capacity of 6,000 litres per minute and delivers a precise 3% dosing of fluorine-free foam concentrate.
DNM International B.V. in Netherlands has supplied an insulated compact 10ft container to a German industrial site. It is equipped with 2 IBC-containers of each 1000 litre with 1% Sthamer foam concentrate, placed on a dip tray.
As foam proportioning system DNM selected the FIREMIKS 6000-1-PP-F-ALU, a 6” water driven pump proportioner with max flow 6000 lpm and 1% dosing rate. The FIREMIKS is equipped with the option Dosing return valve for easy testing of the system, with the advantage of no consumption of concentrates as it is pumped back to the IBC-containers, furthermore there is no cleaning up of dispersed foam at the site after test. Economically and environmentally beneficial.
Firemiks AB supplied two FM-approved FIREMIKS 1800-3-PP-F-SS-SS-FM units through TTC Co LLC in Oman for PDO Saih Rawl, providing fire protection for two condensate tanks.
Firemiks AB has been selected as the preferred supplier to the Rosenbauer system and has delivered around 200 untis FIREMIKS 150-3-PP-F units for their ongoing system upgrade. With a flow range of 50-150 lpm and 3% dosing, these units are suitable for both high and low viscosity concentrates. The first units were installed in the Gräberntunnel on the Süd Autobahn A2 in Kärnten, Austria.
Firemiks AB in Sweden has supplied four FIREMIKS 8000-1-PP-F foam proportioners (with a maximum flow of 8,000 lpm and a 1% dosing rate) to foam trailers produced by Firemain Engineering Ltd, UK. The four foam trailers, used in parallel with four foam bowsers equipped with replaceable foam tanks (totaling six tanks, each with a capacity of 2,000 liters), were supplied to a major oil company in the Middle East.
